North Wales farmer combining my love of farming and painting into unique art work
My farming journey started in 2012 as a volunteer on a calf rearing unit. I have since worked on four different dairy farms in the area. I started Kathryn's Kows in September 2017 as a hobby artist: painting cows in-between shifts. With my second job as a relief milker I had plenty of time in the day to really focus on my artwork and built up a following on social media. Jumping forward to the autumn of 2019 I started to receive lots of orders for my keyrings and my little business was really starting to grow. During the COVID lockdown in 2020 I was still milking but I had even more time to focus on my artwork and improve my painting skills even further. I started to offer a variety of products and started painting lots of other animals rather than just cows. I am now currently working on a dairy and sheep farm and in my spare time work on my artwork. My work is more commission based but I try to stock up my shop every few months. If you would like a commission making please view customised cattle tags for more information or contact me!
